The look in Kyrie’s eyes made a chill run down her spine.
“N-NO!” She paused for a moment, realizing she had shouted.
“N-No, I was just out looking for—” She stopped, putting her hands over her mouth to stop herself from saying anymore.

A Sunday morning patrol is always peaceful. No fights taking place, but in its stead a gentle breeze. A small smile rests on his lips, enjoying the pleasant quiet to its fullest. He knows it won't be long until the townspeople begin to rustle through the streets to chat and visit, so as much as he’d like to linger, he continues his route, fresh air filling his lungs with each breath.
How long has it been since his heart felt so light? How long has it been since he could sink and settle in the passing seconds, not worrying about something, someone, or some other? For him, it’s felt like an eternity, and he was sure that it would never end. But by mere chance, despite what he thought, he has one person to thank for breaking him out of his routine that never left him time to rest.

Caesar furrows his brows, concentration so intent it’s almost unlike him. Soh isn’t currently home, being out running his little stall, and he takes the time to do what he’s wanted to do. He absolutely won’t let anyone see him, especially not while looking this uncool.
It’s Sunday, and he expects that she will show her face again - because she, like him, seems to lack many friends. Not that he feels bad for her or anything; he’s going to kill her one day, but despite all he says he’s at the very least a stickler for the acknowledged rules. Sundays infuriate him in that regard; it’s the only day she’ll visit him, and he can’t do a damn thing about it.

Like the stars he wishes on, her eyes light up. No, it’s better to say that they took in every last, untainted feather of the prettiest swan and echoed them back out.

Both of them, wearing aprons, baking away at sweets for the cafe today... well, Fuka’s more there to help him out while he does it, but he really, really appreciates her positive attitude, and cuteness!
